Jon Dorfman - Founder was born in Plainview, NY attended college at Indiana University and currently resides in NYC working as an equities trader. Jon's passion for charity work began in Chicago where he was a tutor for the Cabrini Green Tutoring Organization. Upon moving back to New York he continued tutoring with the Fresh Air Fund for several years and although not currently involved in the program still maintains a friendship with his former student & family. Jon has also volunteered and fundraised for the Grand Central Neighborhood Soup Kitchen in NYC. Founding KidCare along with Brian, Morgan, and Adam was a dream come true. Just seeing the smiles on the kids faces is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Brian Morgan - Founder A native of Dix Hills, New York, Brian Morgan has been a resident of New York City since 1999. He has a bachelor’s in communications from Penn State University and a certificate in film from NYU. In 2005, Brian joined Citi-Habitats, where he now holds the title of Vice President. His hard work and tenacity has led to several awards including Rookie of the Year in 2006 and the prestigious Platinum Award for three consecutive years (2006-2008). Although Brian is a hard working real estate agent, he takes time for charitable organizations.
Adam Turkewitz - Founder grew up in East Meadow, New York and went to college at the State University of New York College at Geneseo where he studied business. While attending school, one of his friends came down with cancer and passed away just after graduation. Following this terrible tragedy, Adam started a scholarship fund at his college in his friend’s name, as a result he became heavily involved in charity and volunteer work. In 2007 Adam began volunteering with children at Asphalt Green as a soccer coach. He is adamant that all children deserve every opportunity to make something great out of their lives and he is committed to helping make that happen through Kid-Care.
Morgan Turkewitz - Founder now a top rental agent at Citi-Habitats, was born and raised in New York. She earned a degree in Human Services & Business Essentials Summa Cum Laude from the University of Delaware. As an undergraduate, Morgan fully circumvented the world and visited 13 countries while studying with Semester at Sea. Her accelerated success in real estate comes from her extensive knowledge of the Manhattan rental market and her ability to cater to each individual’s specific housing needs. Her tireless dedication to KidCare has been essential in allowing the organization to continue to help the homeless and underprivileged of our community.
Jill Martin - Head of Sandy Fundraising Jill is a New York Times best-selling author, Today Show Contributor, and a broadcaster for the New York Knicks. Jill has a long history of philanthropic work and fundraising stemming back to her time in Miami where she raised money for Katrina. Jill was inspired to help with Hurricane Sandy relief and has been on the ground helping in Far Rockaway since this disaster struck. Jill has been able to rangle support through social media and her vast network making it possible to provide support in the form of food, clothing, and basic essentials to these people in dire need.
Donations will go towards sponsoring our partner organizations which provide food, shelter, and education for underprivileged and homeless children. In addition due to the current circumstances donations will go towards helping the people affected by Hurricane Sandy. We will provide you with feedback and updates as to where and how your money is being used.
